Marketplace Customer Terms

Version 2026-07-22 · Effective 2026-07-22 · For purchases from third-party merchants

Jewels Fashiontrading as Jewels FashionRegistration / legal identifier: 0000Online OnlyLebanon

These terms supplement the general store terms when a product is identified as “Sold by [Merchant name]”. They do not reduce mandatory consumer rights.

1. Who sells marketplace products

The named Merchant is the seller and supplier of each product marked “Sold by”. Jewels Fashion operates the Platform, presents listings, routes orders, records payment/fulfilment information, moderates products and reviews, and helps coordinate support and disputes. Products not marked “Sold by” remain governed by the general store terms and seller information.

2. Product information and order acceptance

The Merchant supplies product descriptions, images, price, stock, sizing, colour and other material information, subject to Platform review. Customers must check the product, Merchant attribution, total price, delivery information and payment method before ordering. An order confirmation records the request; acceptance, cancellation and fulfilment remain subject to availability, verification, applicable law and published policies.

3. Prices and payment

Displayed totals identify product charges, order discounts, delivery and tax where applicable. The customer pays through the methods offered at checkout. The Platform may collect or record payment for marketplace administration and may deduct its commission from Merchant proceeds; this does not add a separate customer commission unless clearly disclosed before ordering.

4. Delivery and fulfilment

The Merchant is responsible for supplying its product lines accurately and lawfully. A mixed order may be fulfilled by more than one seller and may arrive separately. Delivery estimates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. Customers should keep the order reference and promptly report an incorrect, missing, damaged, unsafe or suspected counterfeit product.

5. Cancellations, returns, exchanges and refunds

Requests are handled under applicable consumer law, the general store return/exchange policy, any lawful product-specific disclosures and the Merchant’s obligations. Nothing in these terms excludes a mandatory right, remedy, warranty or cooling-off right. Hygiene, personalised, perishable or other restricted items may have lawful exceptions only where clearly disclosed and permitted.

6. Customer responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate contact and delivery details, use lawful payment methods, inspect orders promptly, follow product care and safety instructions, and communicate honestly. Fraud, abusive chargebacks, review manipulation, harassment, resale misuse or interference with the Platform is prohibited.

7. Reviews

Only a logged-in customer with a completed matching purchase may review that product and Merchant. Reviews must reflect genuine experience, avoid unlawful or irrelevant content, and may be moderated. Merchants may reply publicly. Moderation does not guarantee the accuracy of every review.

8. Problems and marketplace support

Customers can open an issue linked to the exact order, product and Merchant. The Platform may request evidence, notify the Merchant, coordinate a proposed resolution, update status and preserve a case record. Customers and Merchants retain non-waivable rights and access to competent authorities or courts.

9. Privacy and merchant disclosure

To fulfil a marketplace order, the Platform shares the customer information described in the Marketplace Customer Privacy Notice with the relevant Merchant only. The Merchant must use it for fulfilment, delivery, support, returns, fraud prevention, accounting and legal compliance—not unrelated marketing without a separate lawful basis.

10. Liability and statutory rights

The Merchant remains responsible for its products and fulfilment. The Platform remains responsible for its own marketplace services and conduct. No exclusion applies to fraud, wilful misconduct or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limitation is interpreted consistently with mandatory consumer-protection law and does not remove statutory remedies.

11. Governing law and contact

Subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction, these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon and disputes are submitted to the competent courts of Beirut, Lebanon. Contact admin@jewels.fashion or use Marketplace Reviews & Support for an order-linked issue.

Marketplace privacy

Marketplace Customer Privacy Notice

Version 2026-07-22 · Effective 2026-07-22 · For customers ordering Merchant products

1. Platform and Merchant responsibilities

Jewels Fashion controls the storefront, customer account, checkout, order record, marketplace support, fraud prevention, review and administration processing. The Merchant named beside a product receives limited information for its own product lines and is responsible for its own fulfilment, delivery, returns, support and legally required records. Depending on applicable law and the activity, the Platform and Merchant may each act as an independent controller for their respective processing.

2. Information collected

We process name, email, telephone, delivery address, city/area, account identifier, ordered products and variants, prices and discounts, payment method and status, order notes, fulfilment/tracking updates, support issues and evidence, reviews and ratings, consent version and timestamp, and security/technical records. We do not disclose a customer password to a Merchant. Full payment-card credentials, if a card provider is introduced, should be handled by the authorised payment provider and are not intended to be shared with Merchants.

3. Information shared with the Merchant

For the relevant Merchant’s lines, we share customer name, phone, delivery address, city/area, order reference, product, size or length, metal or finish, quantity, fulfilment status, tracking/delivery reference, and issue or return information reasonably needed to complete and support the order. A Merchant does not receive unrelated products, account activity, password, wishlist, or orders belonging only to other Merchants.

4. Purposes and lawful grounds

Data is used to take and fulfil orders; create and maintain accounts; communicate confirmations and delivery updates; process payment status, returns and refunds; prevent fraud; publish verified reviews; resolve issues; keep tax, accounting and legal records; protect the service; and comply with authorities. Depending on applicable law, the grounds include contract performance and requested pre-contract steps, legal obligations, legitimate interests in secure marketplace operation and dispute prevention, and consent where specifically requested.

5. Other recipients

Data may also be disclosed to authorised Platform staff, delivery providers, hosting and email providers, security and fraud services, payment and banking providers, accountants, professional advisers, insurers, regulators, courts and law enforcement when reasonably necessary or legally required. Recipients should receive only what is needed for their function.

6. Marketing limits

Checkout consent authorises marketplace order processing and the disclosed Merchant sharing; it is not consent to unrelated direct marketing. A Merchant must not add the customer to marketing lists or contact the customer for unrelated promotions without a separate lawful basis and any consent required by law.

7. Retention

Marketplace order, consent, financial, fulfilment, review and dispute records are normally retained for up to 7 years after the relevant transaction or account relationship, or longer where required for tax, accounting, warranties, fraud prevention, legal claims or legal hold. Merchants must delete or securely restrict local copies when no longer needed for those purposes.

8. International processing and security

Service providers or Merchants may process data in other countries. Where transfer restrictions apply, an available lawful mechanism and reasonable safeguards should be used. The Platform applies access controls, logging, updates, backups and other reasonable measures; Merchants are contractually required to limit access and report suspected incidents. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Customer rights

Subject to applicable law, customers may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent where consent is the basis, or information about recipients and transfers, and may complain to a competent authority. Some records must be retained for orders, legal duties, fraud prevention or claims. We may verify identity and coordinate with the relevant Merchant to answer a request.

10. Children, updates and contact

The marketplace is not intended for children who cannot lawfully contract. A parent or guardian should place an order where required. We may publish updated versions and request renewed acknowledgement for material changes. Contact admin@jewels.fashion for privacy requests and identify the order and Merchant where relevant.
